Who we are
The bika.pt website and the BIKA café, at Rua José dos Reis Silva, 8700-304 Olhão, are operated by A PREENCHER (nome da sociedade, ex.: …, Lda.), tax number (NIF) A PREENCHER, registered office A PREENCHER (morada da sede). Contact: ola@bika.pt.
Personal data
Client Area and BIKA Card. If you create an account, we store your name, email, password (hashed), site language, sign-up date, your points and your choice about receiving news. We use this to run the member card and, if you asked for it, to send you news. The legal basis is running the member programme and your consent.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email and the date. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Orders. The bika.pt website does not take orders. Orders placed at pedidos.bika.pt are sent by you, via WhatsApp, directly to BIKA.
Processors. The website, the database and the images are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Order messages go through WhatsApp (Meta).
Your rights. You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to ola@bika.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
Cookies
bika.pt uses no advertising cookies and no tracking tools. We use a single technical cookie to keep you signed in to the Client Area — without it, you could not stay logged in.
Complaints book
BIKA keeps a physical complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) on the premises and an electronic one at livroreclamacoes.pt.
Alternative dispute resolution
In the event of a consumer dispute, you can contact CIMAAL – Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve, Av. 5 de Outubro, n.º 55, R/C Dto., 8000-075 Faro, consumoalgarve.pt. More information on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (www.consumidor.gov.pt).
Prices and allergens
Prices include VAT at the applicable rate. Allergen information follows Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011; if in doubt, ask the team before eating.
